The Dallas Museum of Art, located at 1717 North Harwood Dallas, Texas, in one form or another since 1903. Originally known as the Dallas Art Association and exhibited pictures belong to the members of the Dallas Public Library. He went to many different buildings in length of years to its present home in 1984.

The jewel of Dallas Museum of Art is the Wendy and Emery Reves Collection. It was donated in 1985 by Wendy Reves in memory of her late husband. This collection includes over 1,400 unique pieces of art made painting, sculpture, decorative objects, textiles, ceramics, and has worked for money in the impressionist style contemporary and post-impressionists. Some of the most famous works were made by Auguste Rodin, Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot, Honoré Daumier, Gustave Courbet, Edouard Manet, Paul Cézanne and Vincent van Gogh. The Reves Collection value is estimated at more than $ 30 million. Such is the importance of the Dallas Museum of Art has built A new wing of 15,000 square meters to accommodate only the collection.
A museum of this magnitude is expected to host many exhibitions, and the Dallas Museum of Art is no exception in this regard. It hosts an average of 20 exhibitions and every year.
