The art, sculpture and architecture is amazing in every region of Thailand. If you plan to travel in Thailand may be eager to see the art and religious culture seems to be everywhere you turn. There are so many places to see the artifacts is unreal.
Borommahathat Wat Phra Doi Suthep is one of those places you just see to believe. Went Built in 1383 by King Gue-Na in a tray. The sight is out of this world and shows the northern Thai capital of Chiang Mai. The temple is a pagoda which houses part of the relics of Buddha. Buddhists around the world come here to worship the holy temple.
The monkey temple in Lopburi, known as San Phra Kan shrine is a bed with two sections. The oldest section dates back to the Khmer period, while the new section is a building constructed in 1951. The new section has a number four gods armed with a Buddha head, which is a project of worship. The monkeys are real and in the temple, and are a favorite of tourists. The monkeys are tame and eat the food offerings left by the faithful.
Wat Chao Phraya Thai is only a few minutes outside of Ayutthaya, and a great sight to see. King U-Thong was built in 1357 for meditation. There is a large pagoda which was built in 1792, you can see far. Unfortunately, the pagoda is in a terrible state now, but still is a great place to visit.
Phanom Rung Historical Park in Buriram is the place to see some interesting rock art of the 12th century. There is a room stone castle you should not miss. There are Many lintels and pediments depicting episodes from Hindu texts like the Ramayana, the Mahabharata and the Puranas.
Thailand has much to offer especially when one considers the areas of large collection of ancient art and religion. From architecture to sculpture, is a sight to see.
